고난의 길
Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed in to see
A Man condemned to die on Calvary
예루살렘 슬픔의 길에서, 그날 병사들이
그 좁은 길을 지나가려고 애쓰고 있었지요
하지만 군중들은 갈보리산 위에서 처형 언도를 받은
한 사람을 보려고 서로 밀쳐대고 있었지요
He was bleeding from a beating
there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death
그는 채찍질을 받아 피를 흘리고 있었었지요
그의 등에는 자국이 가득 나있었지요.
머리에는 가시 면류관을 쓰고 있었고
발자국을 떼어놓을 때마다
죽이라고 외치는 조롱 소리를 들어야 했지요.
Down the Via Dolorosa, called "the way of suffering"
Like a lamb came the Messiah Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary
"고난의 길"이라 불리는 그 슬픔의 길로
어린양처럼 왕 되신 메시아 그리스도께서 오셨지요.
하지만 그 분은 사랑으로 그 길을 걸어가시기를 선택하셨지요
그대와 나를 위해, 슬픔의 길을 지나 갈보리까지.

Mas la gente se acercaba
Para ver al que llevaba aquella cruz
사람들은 말을 했네. 이젠 모두 끝이라고
더 이상 그를 기대 할수 없다고
자신마저 못구원한
그는 메시아 일수 없다고
Por la Via Dolorosa que es la via del dolor
Como oveja vino Christo, Rey, Senor
Y fue El quien quiso ir por su amor por ti y por mi
Por la Via Dolorosa al Calvario y a morir
갈보리의 그길 만이 진정 구원의 길인것을
그 누구도 이해 하지 못했지만
너와 나를 향한 하나님의 사랑 때문에
주님은 그길을 가셨네, 슬픔의 길로
The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Mad its way through the heart of Jerusalem
모든 인간들의 영혼을 깨끗케 하실
그 피는 예루살렘의 중심을 지나 나아갔지요.

인류의 영혼을 깨끗하게 할 그 피는
예루살렘의 심장을 통해 흘러갔습니다.

왕이신 그리스도, 메시야께서 어린 양으로 오셨습니다.
